The first e-zine we publish!!!

“An important letter” is the first number of this zine, an adaptation of “Nosferatu” (a film by F.W. Murnau, 1922) made by Plasmodi.

“Nosferatu! is a humble tribute to the original Nosferatu film by Murnau. I decided to make my own adaptation, it’s like watching the film in zine format. The main reason why I did this is quite simple,
I loved the film when I first saw it as a child. But there’s another reason that made me start this project, Nosferatu was the first Prana Film. The court ordered all existing prints of Nosferatu burned after Prana Film was sued for copyright infringement, but one purported copy of the film had already been distributed around the world. These prints were duplicated over the years. And now here I am, readapting an adaptation.”
